It was a middle aged mom of a girl I picked on that had the most impact on me. She saw past the idiot teenage boy and saw someone with potential. Needless to say, I got my act together, apologized for being a jerk, and became great friends with the girl. 34 years later I have the honor of being a youth worker that has the opportunity and honor of pouring into students lives.
