I think your first question to your last lingering questions was the answer. I believe there’s so much focus on how to make the gospel and worship more attractive to young people, instead of bringing them to the revelation of the beuaty of Jesus – who it is we worship and why.
We can’t expect young people to engage in worship if they don’t know the person they’re worshipping or why they’re doing it. They know their favourite song they sing, and the celebrity they go crazy for.
Instead I find so much emphasis on alternate ways that are ‘ok’ but seem to dilute the beauty of worship.
I am praying for this revelation of Jesus in their lives and for the holy Spirit to come in and enable them to press in to Jesus.
