Such a good point Marty. I think that as much as it makes us “feel” great when a student acknowledges us. We really need to be so faded in the background that Christ is the one genuinely getting the glory.

We as a team really needed to refocus what we were doing after that. In my 15 years of youth ministry I considered it a victory, when during a students testimony, my team or I was rarely mentioned and all the focus was on Christ.
