Hi Parent.

I see so many places where the values of the Kingdom of God stand in stark contrast with the values in our culture. I believe Christ-followers can live differently, but it will take a church full of praying people supporting them.

Hi Darcie. We did a 2 week series with out HS students a few weeks ago, coinciding with the release of the 50 Shades of Grey movie. We will probably revisit the topic on a regular basis, mainly because I believe it will take a Spirit-led overhaul of our imaginations to grow to a place where we can recognize God’s standards for sexuality and how aggressively culture attacks those values. I’d be glad to share resources with you if you’re interested.

I believe today’s youth see homosexuality as being cool, hip, progressive and not at all about what a person truly desires, let alone what God’s plan is for them. My own stepson believes he is gay and is in favor of same sex marriage. God help us. Prayer is the only weapon we have against the lies of the evil one.
