What with all the websites that can allow you to find great rates at some really cool places, I would suggest planning that really nice getaway that the Leverts mentioned at Christmas. Make the reservations early and put it on your calendar early. That way it’s a double bonus. A nice gift plus something to look forward to. Great ideas and thanks for the reminder of what’s important!

with 3 kids all under 10 and a couple of foster kids, finding a babysitter is not so easy. We have another family in the church with 5 kids and we have agreed to take turns each month watching each others kids. After all, what is 5 more?

Make it happen. We come up with all sorts of excuses (especially us guys)…make it happen.

Grab a quick bite at some place and then head over to a favorite coffee shop for something sweet and a cup of java where you can both relax and just hang out with one another (oh, and make sure you are not on your phone!).

Great words!
One of the things I always do is take a small vacation with my wife and kids right after school ends and before camps hit. Then after camps and everything we take a little longer vacation. It doesn’t have to be far away or cost much to make it worth it.

PS…who knows how to get cheap tshirts
