If we as leaders are “ministering” out of a need for appreciation, significance, purpose, love or any other need, then how can we hope to produce disciples filled with the selfless love of Jesus?

We must minister out of a place of identity rooted in Christ, otherwise we will misrepresent Him in whatever we do. I don’t want to do the “Lord’s work” like the devil.

Thanks again!

Relationship with Jesus has to balance the buzz, the anointing that comes with ministry. I am an addict myself and stepping down now for 6 months, because on my own I was unable to maintain a balance . Thank you and best wishes to you.
